William Shakespeare Socks
Beautifully designed William Shakespeare Socks for the literary fans amongst us.
A few words on the young William Shakespeare. Prior to moving to London and working as an actor and playwright and then owner of a theater, Shakespeare lived in Strafford-upon-Avon where he toiled as a school teacher. When he was 18, he got an older woman, Anne Hathaway pregnant, and they were married. They had three children together. Shortly after his youngest children were born, Shakespeare left for London, though why he left and exactly when he left is uncertain.
His wife outlived him and in his will, Shakespeare left her his “second best bed.” No word on to whom he left his best bed.
What does any of this have to do with the William Shakespeare Socks? Nothing, we thought you might find it interesting.
