John F. Kennedy Socks
An excerpt from John F. Kennedy's Inaugural Sock Address (January 20th, 1961):
Can we forge against our enemies, namely socks that lack a creative vision, and assure a more fruitful life for sock-wearers everywhere with my John F. Kennedy Socks? Will you join in this historic effort?
In the long history of the world, only a few socks have been granted the status of being comparable to my John F. Kennedy Socks. I do not shrink from my responsibility to grace only the best pair of socks – my sockability, if you will – I welcome it. I do not believe that any of us would exchange a pair of John F. Kennedy Socks for bland, mass-produced socks. The energy, the faith, the devotion which I bring to this sock endeavor will be felt by every step of every individual in our country – and that comfort can truly help shape the world.
And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your feet can do for your socks – ask what your John F. Kennedysocks can do for your feet.
