Down Syndrome Awareness Unisex Crew Socks

Our Down Syndrome Awareness Socks honor the contributions, achievements and struggles of people with Down syndrome. We donate 10% from the sale of every pair of these socks to support Down syndrome. The money goes to the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) and the Association for Children with Down Syndrome (ACDS). 

Our co-founder and inspiration, John Cronin, has Down syndrome and every day demonstrates what people with Down syndrome can do. He wanted to do something to raise awareness of Down syndrome so he wanted to create a Down Syndrome sock. He helped design these socks.

We wanted the Down Syndrome Awareness Socks to be colorful, fun and beautiful. The 3-21 represents both World Down Syndrome Day (March 21) and the extra chromosome that people with Down syndrome carry. Most of us are born with 23 pairs of chromosomes, but people with Down syndrome are born with a full or partial extra copy of chromosome 21, thus 3-21.

We created the sock in two color combinations:

• The blue sock with yellow trim has the blue and yellow that traditionally represent Down syndrome.
• We also made the purple sock with lilac trim because so many of our customers like purple and John wanted to make a sock they could love.

The Down Syndrome Awareness Socks are perfect to wear on World Down Syndrome Day (March 21) or any time you want to look good and support the people you know with Down syndrome.

There is one unisex Down Syndrome Awareness Crew sock and it fits women, men and children (see sizing below) and were made in the U.S. A.

We also offer a Down Syndrome Awareness Knee High sock.

• Women with shoe sizes 4 through 12.
• Men with shoe sizes 6 - 13.
